AMTACBLADES.com released an updated version of the Northman, this one features Magnacut Steel, also features this new pattern on the grip.

The Northman comes in a similar design, one of the designs has the serial number and the text “MCUT” for Magnacut. So you know what kind of steel is used.

The original first run Northman was made from M390 steel. You can see the difference in the two here:

Other than the steel, the grip texture, you can see that the bolts holding the scales together are different. An evolution.
