This review is of the Blauer Crush Boot, which was purchased and used for about 6 months straight and then use of boot was discontinued due to catastrophic failure. In this review you will see the failure and that was followed up by a refusal by the Blauer company to warranty these boots.

The Good
These boots were fairly comfortable, and fit most of the requirements that the average law enforcement department or agencies puts out in their footwear policies. The best part about this boot was the Michelin (branded) rubber tread. It worked well for wet and dry weather. I would say its on par with the Salomon XA Mid’s I normally wear for work.

The Bad
The overall quality of the boot is extremely sub par. At least that is what I observed them to be after six months of daily use. The above photo you can see the top side wear of the boot. Now I did wear an ankle medical kit throughout the entirety of the six months, but that does not explain some of the other failures that are shown further in this post.

You can see the damage to the top of the boot, which had all the stitching come out. The tongue also developed a hole from the plastic of the quick lace system.

On the left boot the quick lace system stayed in tact and I could still use it without issue. However on the right boot the quick lace system exploded during work and I could not find the hardware as I was out doing work and not just sitting around.

None of the above issues are actually too serious of issues that I would give a negative review or not recommend them to anyone over. Hardware fails, that is fine, boots are consumable just like any piece of clothing.

Which brings me to the failure point that I could not get over, the rear heel support / attachment.

No, I did not rip these apart. I did not get the boot stuck, I just used them daily for law enforcement duty work in the real world. The heels came apart from the rubber. Easy fix right? Six months use, this happens, I will just email Blauer customer service and they should at least have a conversation about warranty?
Nope.
I want to preface this next part with the fact that I have never had a duty boot rubber separate from it the shoe heel. Not once. I have had plenty of other issues, but this one is really something that I cannot accept as anything other than a manufacturer defect.
Blauer did not agree.
The customer service rep asked me where I purchased the boot from, and I have a habit of purchasing things I know I will need for work before I absolutely need them immediately. So I purchased the boots new, and they sat in a box until I needed them. When I did need them I used them for six months straight. The Blauer customer service rep refused to even consider a warranty unless I provide proof of purchase. Which is fine, I understand that they want to make sure I did not buy them used from a thrift store, that’s a business decision they made for their returns/warranty process.
I advised them that I did not have that information, and was told that if I purchased them from a reseller and not from them, that I should contact that reseller for a refund. No one store is going to refund anyone, even with a receipt with this level of use. They know this.
I sent them a photo asking them if this was normal wear on their boots. No response. I asked them to respond to the photo. No response.

I went online and did some research, found a glue that can be used to attach the heel and rubber together, which I then applied. That did not work. Thankfully I just wore them on a hike and not on duty, as I would have had a serious problem due to its catastrophic failure.

So definitely would not recommend Blauer for boots, or anything at this point. I do not believe they would have warrantied the boots to begin with, and used the proof of purchase as a legal loophole way of not accepting responsibility for their poorly made product.
If you are looking for a good duty or hard use boot, definitely do not look at Blauer. Checkout Belleville Boots, and Salomon (Forces). If you absolutely must purchase Blauer anything for whatever reason, make sure you keep your receipt and at the first sign of issues contact them immediately, otherwise you will likely end up eating the purchase.
